You can pick up any of the colors, black, white, pink, red, green or blue for the same standard price of £299. Their website states that you save £30 off the price of the netbook, so how long the offer will last isn’t stated, but it’s definitely available right now.

Best Buy currently have two Asus netbook deals, but are a little shy with one. The Asus Eee PC 1000HEB is listed as $350 and doesn’t say that the netbook usually retails for $400. The Asus Eee PC 1000HD is clearly on sale though, with a huge $130 discount. Both netbooks usually retail for $400 and feature a 10 inch screen, 1GB of RAM. The 1000HD comes with 40GB more storage, totalling at 160GB and also features the latest processor, Intel Atom N280, where as the 1000HEB features the lesser speced Celeron processor.

At Tiger Direct, you can pick up a refurbished 8.9 inch Acer Aspire One for $240, where as brand new it’ll set you back $300. One draw back on the saving is that the refurbished models only come with a 3 month warranty. An extended warranty can be purchased at cost, but it drives the price up much higher than a brand new one.

This week sees the announcement of a “DIY netbook” from OCZ. Standard features of the Neutrino include a 10 inch display with a 1024×600 resolution and the Intel Atom N270 processor. Memory and RAM wise though, the netbook will be available with 1GB of RAM and a 250GB SSD card. The RAM can be upgraded to 2GB, without voiding the warranty, which gives this netbook a DIY edge. The Neutrino will also be able to support hard drives of up to 250GB. We should see this netbook released in the next two to three months, with the option of Windows XP or Ubuntu as the operating system.
