The Asus EEE PC 1000 is a new netbook on the market, and Asus has taken their experience in the netbook field and created a modern, performance-competitive, economical netbook for all users. First thing I noticed was the 40 GB Hard Disk Space, cleverly designed with two hard drives (8 GB and 32 GB), with the latter being a Secure Digital High Capacity drive making it remarkably safe, especially by netbook standards. Three Windows 7 variants for HP netbooks
While HP have phased Linux out of UK netbooks, they’ve also been working on plans for Windows 7 based netbooks. The company plans to offer at least three Windows 7 variants for their netbooks. HP will offer their netbooks with either the Starter Edition, Home Premium and Professional. Microsoft usually only produces the Starter Edition for developing countries, but the basic operating system will be released in the US for use on netbooks. However with it’s low functionality and many Windows fans already showing dismay at the Starter Edition, many will surely opt for the Home Premium...
