Netbook accessory bundles
February 20, 2009 by: adminWhile in my local PC World I stopped by the netbook section to take a look at any offers or new models they had in. Not only did I get to play with some new netbooks, but I also saw a great PC World offer for netbooks.

PC World have a “Netbook Starter Pack” on sale for £19.99. The starter pack really is what it’s called. The pack includes a 10″ protective sleeve from Swordfish and a 2GB card.
When I initially saw the offer after viewing the various netbook cases and sleeves, I thought that the offer would include one of the cheaper cases. Instead the pack features one of the high quality Swordfish cases which usually retail for £13.
The 2GB card included is by Kingston, another high quality brand. While the bundle pack may not save all that many pounds, it’s enough to have a serious think about. A netbook case is a great idea and perhaps more likeley to give your netbook more protection than a regular laptop case. Well that’ll be your thoughts if you’ve ever seen a netbook look out of place in a laptop bag. The 2GB usb stick is also a great idea. I’ve used my 2GB USB flash drive many times to transfer important files from PC to netbook, as well as not so important files.

Also on offer was a “Premium Netbook Starter Pack”. This pack consisted again of a protective netbook sleeve and a USB thumb drive. The USB stick is increased to 4GB in this pack. Also included is an external wireless mouse. The premium netbook starter pack retails for £34.99.
While I didn’t purchase either pack, both are really great offers. If they release the premium pack without the mouse bundled, then that is one I would purchase.

Great post, although I agree with you in part it doesn’t aways turn out like that, other things can happen along the way. But yeah, still a good read. Amy xXx.
