Samsung NC20 Release Delayed

Samsung’s release date for the NC20 netbook in the US has been put back to possibly the first week in April according to Laptop Mag. The release was set for the 16th of March previously (as reported here). In an exclusive deal with NewEgg.com the NC20 will be brought to US shores by Samsung and the model they are releasing will cost $549 . It will have a higher capacity battery and only the black model will be available in America initially.

Samsung are to follow up their popular NC10 netbook, with the NC20 featuring namely a larger screensize. The NC20 just about fits into the netbook range with it’s 12.1 inch screen. With the increased screen size brings in a resolution of up to 1200 x 800. A Samsung rep has confirmed to LaptopMag, that the Samsung NC20 will be released in the US on March 16th. The netbook however, will only be available to purchase from Newegg.com. The price of the netbook hasn’t been announced yet, but based on the UK price of £379.54 ($478 approx) from Amazon, £50 more than it’s little brother...
